Bill relocated to Underhill Vermont in 1994 and has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. He has a variety of responsibilities at Isabelle Construction including estimating, administration, carpentry. He might be the 1st person you meet at your project and the last one you see there. Bill’s ability to connect with our clients, understand their needs, and offer support in so many ways is of immense value to our company. His background and communication skills afford him an innate ability to promptly and effectively address the dynamic needs of Isabelle Construction + its clients, and on top of that, Bill is always eager to work on ways to be even better at his role. He is always a source of good vibes whenever he swings by the jobsite, and works in tandem with carpenters half his age, swinging a hammer whenever we need him. In his spare time Bill likes being outside, especially when joined by his family. His interests include running, biking, camping, kayaking, Nordic skiing, hiking, and coaching 7-8 grade girls’ lacrosse.

With over 31 years in the building trades, Scott has dedicated his career to mastering every aspect of construction—from the foundation to the finishing touches. He truly pours his heart and soul into crafting the type of quality work that stands the test of time. With a evident passion for craftsmanship, problem-solving, and continuous learning, Scott really is a pleasure to work with and get to know. Scott has worked across a wide range of residential and light commercial projects, starting off framing houses at a young age with his grandfather and uncles in Chittenden County. Given the opportunity to pursue work installing copper, slate, and standing seam roofing, Scott continued to cultivate his skillset and attention to detail. After running his own general contracting business for several years, Scott was welcomed with open arms at Isabelle Construction and very quickly fell into the role of lead carpenter/foreman. One of Scott’s many skills that we especially value at Isabelle Construction would have to be his ability to mentor others in the trade. Teaching newer workers how to fine-tune their skills, think critically, and take pride in their craft is important and challenging work, and Scott is a cornerstone of our team that rises to the occasion whenever it is needed . What’s better yet is his humility: “I’ve learned to stay open—because no matter how long you’ve been doing this, there’s always something new to pick up from someone else’s experience or perspective. Construction is more than just a job to me—it’s a constantly evolving skillset and a way to make a lasting impact. I’m proud of the path I’ve taken and even more excited for what’s still ahead.” In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, dog and cat. He often explores the state of Vermont by hiking, fishing, hunting, and shopping at estate sales. Being mechanically inclined, he can also be found working on his motorcycles + vehicles.
